February Fun

As we continually see effects of 'global warming' drive floods in Northern Australia and Bushfires in the south, as well as the UK totally engulfed by snow, Furano is a magical winter oasis.

This weekend we had the Furano Winter Festival. Appropriately Huey san delivered us some nice fresh snow and it was a great day on the slopes today.

Weekend 'crowds' meant you had to wait just one Furano Ropeway, but that's really nothing to complain about. The mountain is in the best condition of the season, with the snowpack staying cold and temperatures consistently below minus 5 degrees.

This week we are expecting snow Wednesday through Friday, so next weekend is shaping up to be a bumper.
